ShutOut is a small private security firm for people whose lives are public. We close the doors attackers use, and we stay on call. Quietly.
Why this exists.
Cybersecurity was built for companies. Firewalls, compliance frameworks, a help desk. None of it was built for a person whose entire business is an account they log into from a phone, run by a team of four, promoted by opening attachments from strangers.
Executive protection firms noticed the gap and filled it with apps and dashboards priced for a Fortune 500 expense report. Creators, athletes and artists got left with YouTube tutorials and a recovery form that never answers.
ShutOut is the thing we wished existed: a small team of people who have actually recovered accounts, hunted impersonators, and sat with a family after a doxxing, offering that same work to the people who need it most and have the least backup.
How we work

Written authorization first
We research you, with your signature. Never a third party, never an ex, never a "concerned" manager.
Insured and incorporated
A real company with errors and omissions coverage. Boring on purpose.
What we are not
A few things we'll never say.
- "We have a contact inside Meta." Nobody at our size does. Anyone who says so is lying or about to get your account permanently banned.
- "Guaranteed recovery." Platforms decide what gets restored. We run the process correctly and don't waste your limited appeals. That is the honest version.
- "Just install our app." We don't ship one. Your protection shouldn't depend on another vendor holding your data.
- "Send us your password so we can check it." Never. Not by email, not by DM, not by phone. Anyone who asks is the attack.
Discretion
Our clients don't appear on this page.
No logo wall. No case studies with the names changed badly. No "as trusted by" carousel. We don't post about our work and we don't ask clients to.
If you want references, we can sometimes arrange a private conversation with a current client who has agreed to take the call. Ask during intake.
Signal available on request. Intake calls can be done without video, and without your real name until you're comfortable.
