Hacked? Start here
Pick the platform. Then breathe.
Platform-specific first steps, the official recovery links (there are no phone numbers), and the scams that circle every hacked account. If more than one account is involved, start with your email, then come back.

Before any of that
Secure your email first.
Every platform recovers through your email. If the attacker holds it, nothing else sticks. From a clean device: change the email password, turn on app-based two-factor, sign out everywhere, and check recovery options for additions you don't recognize. Then lock your carrier account. The full first hour is on the incident page.
Universal truths
Five things that are true on every platform.
- There is no support phone number. Every one you find on Google is a scam.
- Platforms don't DM you about enforcement, verification or recovery. Anyone who does is the attack.
- The "recovery experts" in your comments are a second scam. All of them.
- Appeals are limited. One careful attempt with accurate information beats five rushed ones.
- If a stolen session cookie was used, changing the password isn't enough. Sign out all sessions and clean the device.

If you'd rather not do this alone.
Incident clients get a person on the phone who has done this many times. Same day, when we have capacity.
