Why removal is a process
They repopulate from the same public records. So we re-check every month.
- Most sites honor an opt-out for one listing, then create a new one when a fresh record arrives: a new lease, a utility hookup, a voter update.
- Many require a different request per name variation, per address, per relative. A family of four is dozens of requests.
- Some demand a scan of your ID to remove your ID. We handle that with redaction and, where appropriate, through counsel.
- The real fix is upstream: fewer new records created about you in the first place. That's part of the work.
